Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026.
These terms apply when you create an Allocky account, join a workspace or use the Allocky service.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Allocky you agree to these terms. If you use Allocky for an organisation, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf. The service is provided by Allocky.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must give accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. The service
Allocky is a web application for planning people across projects: scheduling allocations, recording leave, tracking utilisation and capacity, managing projects and tasks, and producing reports and read-only share links.
4. Workspaces, users and roles
Data belongs to a workspace. Workspace owners and administrators invite members and assign roles. Editors can change plans; viewers can only read them. Plan limits apply to resources and editors.
5. Subscriptions, trial and billing
Allocky offers a Free plan, paid Starter and Pro plans billed quarterly or annually, and Enterprise arrangements by agreement. Eligible workspaces may start one 30-day Pro trial without a payment card. Billing terms are set out in the Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use Allocky for planning and reporting on your organisation's work. You must not:
- break the law or infringe others' rights;
- try to access workspaces or data you are not authorised to see;
- disrupt, probe or overload the service;
- resell or reverse engineer the service except where the law allows;
- upload malicious code.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you put into Allocky. You give Allocky permission to process it only to provide and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter personal information about your team.
8. Intellectual property
Allocky's software, design and branding remain Allocky's property. These terms do not transfer any of it to you.
9. Third-party services and payments
Allocky relies on third-party providers for hosting, email and payments. Payments are processed by PayFast. Card payment details are entered through PayFast's hosted payment experience and are not stored by Allocky. PayFast's own terms apply to your use of its payment pages.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Allocky available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce paid functionality.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You may stop using Allocky at any time. Cancelling a paid plan is covered in the Billing policy.
12. Disclaimers
Allocky is a planning tool. Decisions you make from its schedules and reports remain yours. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is.
13. Limitation of liability
Allocky is provided on an as-available basis. The limits of liability that apply to the service are subject to legal review before production release.
14. Indemnity
Indemnity terms are subject to legal review before production release.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top of this page and tell workspace owners about material changes before they take effect.
17. Notices and contact
Account and billing questions can be raised from within your workspace settings. Legal notices: info@allocky.com.
